2 months ago, I was hanging out with Jade Castrinos of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros talking about the Big Top…
It’s this 4 day music festival at the Los Angeles State Historic Park organized by the staff at Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and it’s going to feature a wicked lineup of musicians and performers…and of course, the band themselves, all under a traditional Big Top.
I was absolutely flattered that she thought my designs would be good enough for such an audience… but I had no money and no way of getting there.
I decided to set up an Indiegogo campaign to try to raise some money for a plane ticket. I was overwhelmed by the support and love I received from friends, family and the angels over at Community Music. After about a month of campaigning, I managed to raise enough money for my trip!
In one week from now, I will be boarding my flight to L.A for the first time and vending at a music festival headlined by my favourite band in the whole world! How wild is that?! I don’t know what I ever did to deserve this, but I promise to work extra hard to make it worth your while! Please feel free to follow my journey by checking my blog! Sending all of my love!!!! xoxo
